Procurement of right machinery vital in mineral processing
facility
SGT start sourcing and procurement at BAUMA CHINA 2014.
In line with SGT’s announced plan to put up a multi-million US dollar metal and
mineral processing facility in the region, company representatives attended BAUMA
CHINA 2014 in November to start the process of sourcing and procurement for the
said project.
BAUMA CHINA 2014 is an international trade fair for construction machinery, building
material machines, construction vehicles and equipment. The event featured more
than 2,000 exhibitors and attracted around 190,000 attendees coming in from different
countries. This year there was a further rise in the number of international exhibitors.

SGT CEO Hamid Dizji said that attending the exhibition presented the company a vast
array of options in terms of the required equipment for the facility. “It is very
important for the group to be able to grasp and have an overview of what is available
in the market and BAUMA CHINA is a great event for us to see everything in one place.
The procurement of equipment for our planned mineral processing facility is a major
project in itself so it clearly saves us a lot of time and effort by having the
opportunity to shortlist key suppliers in a span of four days.”
