SGT explores latest developments in logistics
CEMAT Asia 2014 provides platform for SGT to adapt effective industry trends.
SGT attended the recently concluded CEMAT Asia 2014 in October at the Shanghai New
International Expo Centre in China. CEMAT Asia is one of the region’s most important
events in the field of Materials Handling, Automation, Transport and Logistics.
This year, the event opened under the theme ‘Smart-Integrated-Efficient’ showcasing
cutting-edge logistic technologies and products in nearly 40,000 square meters of
exhibition areas.
Mr. Hamid Dizji, CEO of SGT said, “Research and development is an unending process
for SGT and we believe that if we invest time and effort now, we will benefit from
these in future. One of the things we focused on at CEMAT was to discover innovative
solutions that will help us improve our logistics processes. Attending the event
gives us the capability to foresee how the industry is moving and therefore, plan
how we can adapt these new technologies.”
